Costa Rican Honeymoon, Day Eight

Well, the day was off to a great start - no clouds in the sky. We were ready to pack and leave for Jaco when hubby realized we had one more day left in Tamarindo - AAK! I'd already packed and thought it silly to unpack again, so I'm living out of a suitcase for the night.

As I was saying, the day was gorgeous! We ate breakfast and then laid out by the pool all morning.

Hubby borrowed a rented surfboard from one of the guests and tried the waves out to not much avail. I saw him try to get up once. I guess the waves were crappy.

We swam in the pool (kind of) and read for awhile. We had lunch and then went for a "Sunday drive" down those hellish roads to go to a beach to see turtles. We couldn't get there though because the road was flooded.

We read for awhile and later went for dinner.

The only exciting thing to happen today was that I had to kill a GIANT spider - ugh! Oh, and we finally got to see part of a Pacific sunset.

Tomorrow, it's off to Jaco! Woo wee!
