Costa Rican Honeymoon, Day Nine

We woke up this morning and the both of us read a little before getting showered and ready for breakfast. After breakfast, we left for Jaco. When we were checking out, hubby got busted for trying to steal the clothes hangers out of the room...muy mal! I lectured him on the way to Jaco before realizing that the book I was reading had come from the hotel - whoops!

We got to Jaco and cruised the strip - not Fort Lauderdale by any means, but a very cool pseudo version of Key West.

We checked in and went to our villa - a cute little place, but it's a hike to civilization. This place has a living room, kitchen, television, and bathtub; all things we have lacked in some of the other hotels.

We ate lunch at the oceanfront discoteque - not bad, but thank God we got cash from the bank or else we'd be eating there all wekk - ugh!

After lunch, we went to find books to read and hubby found out about a cool beach with waves called Playa Hermosa. We checked it out and collected pebbles...yes, pebbles. The beach here has all black sand and instead of sea shells, there are pebbles of varying colors. Very cool.

We then went and got hubby a surf board and I checked my email. Then, we went to attempt to check out the sunset. It was a little cloudy so we missed out on the best of it.

Later, we went to dinner at the hotel restaurant - the food was okay but definitely not up to par with the Hotel Grano de Oro.

We made calls to my mother-in-law, parents, and our friend, Chip. I found out my Gators lost - the horror! Oh well, they are still my boys.

Anyhow, we came back to the room early and now its time for me to read a trashy Jackie Collins book.
