1. I get to spend as much time with J. as I want
2. If I wanted to, I could go on vacation
3. I get a 10-week break from work
4. I can check my email and have no obligation to respond whatsoever
5. If a problem arises at work, it's not my problem
6. I don't have to use my brain if I don't want to
7. I get to have a taste of what it would be like to be a stay-at-home mom
8. I get a break from office politics and drama
9. I get a paycheck every week for spending time with my son
10. Instead of working, I can post updates in my blog while J. naps

I hear you. Sleepless nights, going days without bathing, not brushing your teeth aren't all that bad if you don't have to worry about work. My heart goes out to the poor people who have to go back to work at 4 or 6 weeks. Makes me want to cry.
