Yesterday, my husband drove all the way to NC to meet his sister, who had picked up our new puppy in Virginia for us. Cody is a 8-week old male English Black Lab and we are absolutely smitten with him! My only complaint is that he gets too excited when J is around and jumps all over the place. He is also a biter, though he has been much better today than he was last night. The funniest thing to happen was when I pulled a blanket around me to keep him from biting me...he started humping it! Oh, Lordy! I think Marley has been reincarnated!

OMG he is sooooooo cute! But are you crazy? Getting a dog, much less a PUPPY while you're pregnant? See how "smitten" you are after the baby comes! LOL!
As far as the humping thing...are you getting or planning to get him "fixed"? That usually takes care of the problem . No seriously it does. We had our dog neutered as a puppy and he has NEVER humped anything. Literally LMAO! Oh and he squats when he pees too. Good luck with Cody. He IS a cutie that's for sure!
I would have been more apprehensive if not for my husband...he has taken the lead with the dog and pretty much takes care of him. There is still stress, of course, but not so bad.
We will get him fixed, but I think my husband wants to stud him out to some breeders first so that we can make back the money we paid for him. Seriously, he is the most expensive freaking dog I've ever (and will ever) own!
Cody does squat when he pees still...THANK GOD FOR THAT!
