While it was a fun vacation, it is so good to be home! We left this morning at around 9 and got home at close to 7. We stopped outside of Charleston for lunch at this place called Shem Creek Bar & Grill. My husband and I had eaten there when we vacationed in Sullivan's Island, SC a few years ago. I got my shrimp and grits, so I was happy.
The ride home was less than pleasurable. Three year olds and road trips just don't mix. Between him saying "Mommy" 50,000 times and smooshing his Rice Krispies into the upholstery, I was a little more than frazzled when we got home.
We are almost done unpacking and now it is back to the real world! Can't say I am looking forward to going back to work on Tuesday, but I am very happy to be home. Will add pics to my posts tomorrow.
