7 months!

It's that time again...another month has passed, which I can hardly believe. We are over the hump and only 5 months to go before baby J. is a year old.

There hasn't been too much exciting this month, unless you include the fact that he is growing like a weed and trying so very hard to both crawl and cruise. When I am lying on the bed and have him sitting next to me, he will pull himself up into a standing position all by himself. He's also almost pulling himself up into a sitting position all by himself, but not completely yet.

Still no talking, but he sure does love to hear the sound of his voice! He practices a lot and has the cutest things to "say." Best of all, he loves to laugh.

I am forgetting one BIG thing though...he got his two bottom front teeth for Christmas and then two weeks later, his two top teeth started coming in. The poor thing has been in a lot of pain because of it - thank God for Tylenol, pacifiers, and teething rings, is all I gotta say!

In addition, he's got this eating thing down, for the most part. He's like his dad though...can't stand vegetables (except sweet potatoes) and like his mom, isn't crazy about meat (not that I don't eat it, but I'm a starch kinda girl and it shows). He loves fruit though...except bananas.

It's been an amazing seven months! I'm so in love with this kid that I crave him when he's not around.

How did I get so lucky?!?

Girl, you are over the hump that's for sure! It's all fun time from here on out (well, compared to the first 6 months or so).

Actually, make that until they reach 5th grade.

I just love the picture you sent! It makes me smile everytime I walk by it! He is a widdle snuggle bunny that's for sure!

doesn't like bananas? hmmm.. you're going to have to take him to the pediatrician for that. i mean, after all, he was born part MONKEY!!! hee hee... I also have to thank you for the pics you've mailed; I have them on the side of the fridge right next to Miss Gracie. In fact, they are the only two people FAMOUS enough to be on my fridge. *wink*

Love ya!
