A warm-fuzzy

I just got the following email message from my mother-in-law and had to post it here. Not because I think she's right (though I hope she is), but because J.'s been really cranky today and I need to see this every time I look at my blog:

I have to tell you again what a great mom you are. I really don't believe I have ever seen a better mother. J. is a lucky little boy. Not to omit Stephen, he is a great caring dad too.

Gives me the warm-fuzzies!

Um, you and Cory can both BITE ME. I've had enough of these nice MIL stories. ENOUGH.

Seriously, you are a wonderful mother! Just look at how happy he is. I know it's busy right now, but you are doing something right girl! : )

We're headed south this weekend where I'll have to spend the whole time explaining that, "No, it's really not ok to pet every animal in a petting zoo/touch raw chicken that you let defrost on the counter for two days/clean the bathroom/use amdro fire ant killer in your yard/go to the county fair/volunteer at the homeless shelter/etc. and then let the baby chew on your fingers without washing your hands. I need more meds.

Thanks, honey (about the wonderful mother stuff, not the bite me stuff)! I'm just trying to be like you! :D

If you need a break, call me and I'll meet you at the outlet mall (if you are going where I think you are going). At least then, E. will be safe from harmful bacteria!

It sounds like your condo is at around the same stage as our house! We were there this past weekend and the cabinets, countertops, and tile was in. They had stucco'ed the outside and they called yesterday to say that the plumbing was in. Woo hoo!

We went back last night after dinner and the tiles were almost done (needed to be grouted upstairs), all cabinets were in, and our plumbing was actually done before the cabinets. Our field manager (who incidently looks like he could be Nate Berkus' brother--total cutie!) said that within a week or so we should hear about a firm closing date. Meanwhile, our counter-tops should be going in this week me thinks. I'll try to email you a bunch of photos.

We should plan to visit each other's new houses when they're all complete! Besides, I haven't had my turn at holding The Monkey. hee hee...

Hope to talk to you reallllll soon! Miss ya & Love ya much!

xoxo
