I can always count on my dad to make me feel good about myself. Take this snipet of a conversation, for instance:
My Mom: "Wow, you are looking very pregnant! You look like I always did when I was pregnant...all boobs and belly!"
My Dad: "Your butt's growing too!"
Me: "I think I'd rather be all boobs and belly, but thanks!"

I can't imagine my father commenting on something like that. I'd probably die.
Trust me, I wasn't happy about it! I don't think he would have said something though if not for the fact that I am pregnant. Otherwise something like that might KILL a girl's self esteem.
I know I've said it before butt (LOL) I know it will make you feel better... I gained 100 lbs!!! with Max. so until you split the pants of XL maternity jeans at 7 months- yes this did happen - your still doin' ok lady! Just remember- it will come off and this is the only time you get to eat whatever you want without guilt!
