Well, the morning started out with me locking us out of our hotel room - oops.
At breakfast, a bee flew into my cereal and when I got a new box, it was stale. I decided it was not my fate to eat Frosted Flakes this morning. I opted for a yucky omelette instead. I should learn my lesson - you can't go wrong with fresh pineapple!
After eating, we headed for Manuel Antonio National Park - what a drive...some of the scariest bridges I've ever seen were along the route!
The park was amazing! We saw iguanas, squirrel monkeys, lizards, butterflies, and these cute little creatures that looked like a cross between a rabbit and a squirrel with butts that look like coconuts. Anyhow, we trekked up and down and up and down and up and down to get to locations that were absolutely breathtaking - cliffs that overlooked gorgeous beaches. We took some wonderful pictures.
After, we ate at a wonderful restaurant with the most spectacular view of any I've ever seen!
When we got back to Jaco, we swam in the pool at the hotel and then sat on the beach for a little while as the sun was coming down. We then goofed off for awhile and relaxed.
We ate dinner at a great little surfer hangout called Rioasis. Then, we had ice cream and went back to the hotel.
A great day! Definitely a great day!
