Update from the bed...

I'm still getting contractions, but they're irregular...the most has been 9 an hour, but right now they are averaging around 5 an hour. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning...I'm afraid they are going to keep me on bedrest, which would suck ass. I've seen more Lifetime and Hallmark Original Movies this weekend than I ever thought possible!

Make it stop! Make it stop!

I hear you on the bedrest. I felt so helpless in bed (during my 1st preg.)...not to mention, it's not like I was planning it...so I had a ton of last minute stuff that I was freaking out about.

It's fun for about the first two hours, then it got old, fast. You never knew how long a day could be until then.

keep drinking that water...make absolutely sure you're hydrated. let us know what the dr. says tomorrow.

(((hugs)))

Sorry to hear that you're on bedrest but at least you're following doctor's orders! I'm assuming that these contractions aren't "Braxton Hicks"... (i may have spelled that wrong)

Anyway, keep us all updated on your and Baby Jake.

Know that I'll be thinking of you!

C - I'm off bedrest now - yay! It wasn't making the contractions stop to lay down, so the dr said to just take it easy and I'd be good to go.

M - No, the contractions were real. BH contractions have no regular pattern and mine were 5 minutes apart for an extended period of time. Eeek!

i have heard there are no such thing as b.h. contrax. they all are "real", just some are more powerful (and start making changes in your cervix, etc.). I always thought that was interesting.

Forgot to tell you...anytime you are on bedrest (or even just lying there)...try to lie on your left side as much as possible. the baby gets a bit more oxygen that way. it really is true...not just an old wives tale.

It also doesn't smash all your vital organs. For some reason, our creator put all the important stuff on one side. Good if you are injured on the left side I guess....
