New Years Resolutions

So, pretty much every year, I come up with this list of resolutions and pretty much every year, they are either unattainable, or just I just don't really make much of an effort to keep them. Last year, I didn't even make any resolutions because I just didn't see the point. This year, I think I will try again...though I am going to make them as attainable as possible as not to let myself down.

  • Get down to pre-baby weight of 120 pounds before getting pregnant again (am currently at 127 pounds, so there isn't too much to go)

  • Eat at least one fruit or vegetable with each meal...and eat it before eating any other thing on my plate

  • Get an A in Finance, pass my comp exam, and get my master's degree in April

  • Make time for exercise...at least 3 days a week for 30 minutes a pop

  • Do not turn on the computer when I get home from work unless I absolutely have to...that time should be spent with J.

  • Reserve all work-related gossip for only my two closest confidants. I really shouldn't trust anyone else.

  • Begin preparing for the fact that I may someday soon be put in a position to either take over my boss' job or have a new boss...that means learning as much as I can from my boss now and doing some PR work while I am at it.

  • Try to read at least 3 for-pleasure books this year. Yeah, I know...that doesn't sound like very many, but in 2007, I only read Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows , though I have have made it through chapter one of Rhett Butler's People.

  • Be nicer, in general

  • Give more love and attention to my husband. Sometimes it's hard when J. demands everything I have...my husband tends to get neglected. I can't let that happen.

Short of the baby stuff, I could just about copy your list. They all sound like good choices.

Happy New Year To You and Yours!

regardless of exercising or eating more fruits & veggies, you look AMAZING!!! (esp for having had Jake) in fact, you look just like you did when i saw you last before you even got pregnant! (which is way better than me!) ;-)
