11 months!

Wow, the year is almost over! Where did the time go?!?

Just in the last few weeks, as you know, J. started walking. He could take a few steps and then fall on his butt...but now, he can walk across the room. His balance is still a little off, but he's definitely getting the hang of it. He'd run if he could!

He's also said his first two words in the last month..."ball" (which leads me to believe that he will someday be a famous athlete) and "mom" (which he said for the first time on Mother's Day).

I haven't weighed him yet, but last time I checked, he was 21.5 pounds. He's getting leaner from all of the exercise, and taller as well. I'll have to measure him.

I'm in the process now of planning his first birthday party. We're doing a beach theme and having a pool party. I just can't wait to share the photos of him eating his birthday cake!

Adorable as usual!

FYI: My "new" secret to selling your house (cupcakes didn't work - the people that bought my house was the only couple I didn't make cupcakes for):

St. Joseph - I buried it four days prior to the showing of our buyers.

I did this four years ago when I sold my rental house too and it worked. I had just forgot about it or I would have used it sooner.

I bought one because at this point, I'll try anything! The funny thing is that my MIL bought us what she believed to be St. Joseph, but it ended up being the wrong saint. I think maybe THAT'S why we haven't sold our house yet.

What are the rules?!? Does it have to be buried upside down in the yard of the house for sale? If so, we're going to have to send it to a neighbor to do for us.

They will likely think we are freaks, but at this point, I don't care anymore!

Upside down facing your house next to the "for sale" sign - at least that is what I did.
