Yesterday was one of those days when I could totally relate to how easy it would be for a new mom to get the baby blues. My husband was busy working outside most of the day, so I was inside taking care of J. In the evening, he had a softball game, so again I was alone taking care of the little monkey. In the three hours that my husband was gone, J. managed to go through 3 wardrobe changes. Twice, he spit up on both me and himself, and then later, as I was feeding him, he pooped up the back. It ended up leaking out and all over him, his clothes, me, my clothes, and the Boppy pillow. It was an absolute mess. Then, while I was busy trying to clean everything up, Costa (my dog) stole J.'s bottle from the night stand and ate off the nipple. My husband felt bad about my experience though, and offered to get up with J. all night last night. I'm no fool - I took him up on it, and am a much happier mommy today.

such a cute picture!!!!
i'm glad things are going well for you and you have a supportive husband to help with things.
Ha! I am laughing so hard at the dog part! I swear to all things good, there will come a day when you will have a normal life again...it just seems so far off right now, I'm sure.
Wish I lived closer. : (
Ha! That is hilarious! Wish I lived closer too.
Lovely family photo! And it seems that fatherhood suits Stephen well....he looks sexier now than what I remember! :-) You, m'dear are just radiantly beautiful all the time. And let's not forget the star of the show...he's a living doll!
Love ya!

He got that shitting up his back thing from his father.
That is a great picture.
Cory is probably right! Ha!
Along that line, if he ever yells, "Mommy, look at the starfish!" you better just run.
I wish you ALL lived closer!!!
Michele - Thanks, honey - you made my day!
Cory - you are absolutely right! The BEST is when the three of us are hanging out in bed and I've got to deal with the dueling ass banjos from the two of them!
Christine - You are on a roll today! You're too fucking funny!
