- Feeling the baby move in my belly is the most incredible experience
- The anticipation of the due date is like Christmas
- I will get to see friends and family at baby showers
- Being pregnant = being cute
- People give me lots of attention
- I get special treatment when people find out I'm pregnant
- I can sleep all I want and nobody questions me
- I can eat an extra helping and my husband won't look at me cross-eyed
- My skin actually cleared up
- Decorating the nursery
- Not that I have a cat, but if I did, I wouldn't have to clean the litter box
- I cannot wait to be a mom
Things I Don't Like About Being Pregnant:
- I cannot eat real sushi -- have to go for the cooked stuff, like shrimp tempura
- My boobs are way bigger than I ever wanted them to be
- Let's face it - maternity clothes are not the most flattering things on the planet
- The first 4+ months suck when you don't look pregnant, but more like someone who really likes pie
- Morning sickness (or all-day nausea, as was the case with me)
- Can't get in a hot tub or take excessively hot baths
- The thought of labor is scary
- The thought of breastfeeding (though I'm gonna try it) is VERY scary
- Can't ride rollercoasters
- Not supposed to eat hot dogs
- Two words: no alcohol
- Excessive belching makes me feel like a trucker on a beer binge
I'm sure there will be more on both sides when I move into my third trimester and eventually become as big as a doublewide trailer...but these will do for now.

You forgot one...not having to hold your stomach in! Who-hooooo! From the time I get the positive preg. test, I stop. Normally, if I'm awake, I'm sucking it in baby....but I figure that's the trade off for not being able to drink. No wine = no sucking in stomach!
I can't wait to see your boobs Dolly Parton.
I forgot about no drinking...that's definitely on the second list. I think I will have to add it!
If I still had blond hair, I swear I WOULD be Dolly Parton, sans the uber skinny waist and Medieval Times-like show off I-4 in Orlando.
You have to read my friends blog - it's perfect for you. She just did a whole post on breast feeding (not so scary if you know what you're getting into)

Thanks, Mary! It's a keeper! I even added her to my Faves list! :)
I wish I'd been pregnant in Texas and not out here in LALA land-they have special parking spaces for Expecting Mothers in my home state-that'd been one for a top ten list.
I hated sleeping-I needed it, but could never get comfortable-recliners are great-especially in the last trimester.
I'm sure I'll go through the discomfort during sleep stage too, though I pray it doesn't happen (riiiiiight). Me loves me some sleep! ;)
