I got a speeding ticket on the way from Fort Worth to Abilene. I think of it as my special "welcome to Texas" gift. The thing that sucked is that there was no way out of it. He didn't ask me why I was speeding until after he kindly asked me to sign my citation.
I blame it on the fact that he came to the window on the passenger side door. This prevented him from being able to see how big my boobs are.
Had he seen them, I *MAY* have been able to get out of the ticket.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!
In other news, I'm tired as hell and waiting for my Tylenol PMs to kick in so I can sleep. I'm not used to having a set schedule -- I can't wait to get back to my waking up at 8am days.
I talked to my boss today and she told me to expect a formal offer for the position in Arizona within the next couple of weeks. She's going to help me in the negotiation process. Stephen and I have talked about it and it's definitely not going to happen if the money isn't right. We'll see how it goes. Stephen actually has a company interested in him in Arizona...and the position would potentially triple his salary! We could live like ROYALTY!
Then, I wouldn't be so pissed if I had to pay another $156 speeding ticket.
