It's pseudo-official

Well, it's pseudo-official.

I am meeting with my boss' boss on Monday afternoon to receive an offer for the position in Arizona. I've already agreed to serve as interim director, which means that for the next month, I will be flying back and forth between Florida and Arizona each week (work: Tuesday-Friday, home: Friday night-Monday).

I'm both scared and excited. The woman who was in the position decided to accept a demotion, which means I will have to manage her. We get along alright, but I don't think it's going to work out. Hopefully she will decide to save face and just go back where she came from.

So, the next few weeks are going to be extremely hectic and stressful for me. It starts next week with my meeting and then the next day, my boss and I leave for Arizona for two days.

Everything is really pending based on whether or not my husband finds a job in Arizona. I'll be getting a nearly $20K raise and because we're greedy, we're hoping he can find something making more money too.

I've always been a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. It will all fall into place. I have faith.
