Scotland: Day 4

Well, it's Labor Day in the States and a hurricane is underway in Florida. It's nice to be out of the country, except for the fact that this is the one day I had to work. I decided I'd never walk again, however I had no choice in the morning when my hairdryer crapped out because of the wattage...so, I trekked out and bought a new one. It was a rainy and icky morning so when I got back, I stayed inside until it was time to go and give my presentation.

Stephen went out sightseeing while I was working. My presentation started out a little shaky but gained momentum just in time for one of the university bigwigs to witness it. Yay!!!

After my presentation, I did the fun thing that every vacationer dreams of doing...laundry. After, we cabbed it to a really nice restaurant (with bad service, as we have had in most places so far) to have dinner. After, we walked around the city for awhile before running into some of my colleagues at a pub. We hung out with them for awhile and had dessert, then cabbed it back to the hotel.
