Alas, today was our last full day in Scotland. I am now at the Corus Hotel in North Queensferry and Stephen will soon be flying to Paris for the night. My flight leaves tomorrow at 8:25am.
We set out in the morning for Dumfernline, a town with great shopping, and had lunch at McDonald's (can you tell were are getting tired of Scottish food???). We then went to Dumfernline Abbey and Palace, where King Robert the Bruce is buried. After, we went and visited Aberdour Castle, however it wasn't all that impressive.
All in all, we had a wonderful trip and we are both very satisfied that we know more about Scottish history and geography than most Americans ever will! We're ready to go home now though...we miss the USA!!!
