Today, we left Drumnadrochit and headed to the Isle of Skye. On the way, we passed through the most beautiful scenery, including the Five Sisters of Kintail and many waterfalls, and lochs. The weather started getting nasty when we got to the Eilean Donan Castle (see pic above), and stayed that way for the rest of the day. We had lunch in Portree and then drove over to Dunvegan Castle.
After our adventure, we came back to check into our B&B, the Skye Picture House. We rested a bit and then went to dinner at the only restaurant that was open. After, we went to a laundrymat/convenience store/Internet cafe to check on the hurricane, and then came back to the room to shower and go to bed.
Oh, and good news! Ivan is expected to turn further north - to the Panhandle, instead of Tampa Bay - woo hoo! But - bad for those people, of course.
