Well, it stopped raining long enough for us to walk down to the beach and collect shells for two hours, but on our way back we got stuck in a downpour.
We went "into town" for lunch and ate at a cute place called Fiesta del Mar. We then strolled the town in search of an internet-access computer with no luck, as hubby forgot to pay the rent and we needed to contact our landlords. We stopped for ice cream and then went back to the room to read and sleep.
We didn't wake up until 8:30 pm and got up and went to eat at Portofino Italian Restaurant (they are everywhere in Costa Rica). We found the internet there - yay!
The most eventful thing to happen today was that at dinner, the waiter dumped my water on my by accident. It was soaked! Good thing I am so relaxed now. A week ago, I would have gone batty.
We came back to the room, took a pseudo bath, and then popped two sleeping pills in hopes of getting back to sleep.
The rain is still going strong! Will it ever end?
