Not so fast, Kimosabe!

Here, I was getting so excited because things were looking so good with my cycle.

I went to see the RE today and at first, he was all happy-go-lucky, talking about how many follicles I had. When he did the ultrasound to check them out, he said he didn't see as many as there should be, considering how high my estrogen levels are (I am kicking myself for not getting the number). Of the ones he counted, the size was increasing - some upwards of 12-15 mm, up from 9-10 mm two days ago. But, it doesn't sound like I have as many follicles as the IVF nurse counted the other day (again, kicking myself for not getting the numbers).

He wants to see me back in the office on Monday morning. Sucks because it's an 80 miles hike one way, but I will do whatever it takes to salvage this cycle. He mentioned the possibility of canceling the cycle of my estrogen gets too high which has me completely freaked out.

I have not prayed as much as I have been praying lately in a long time.
