What's new and shaking

The "Semester from Hell" is over now, so I can take a deep breath and exhale. I can also assure all two of my loyal readers that I will be more diligent about blogging.

So, I survived. I took two classes, taught a class (they called me "Professor", which always sounded weird to me), customized a new software system at work and trained our staff on it, and took care of my family. Of course a few things were compromised...my house looks like crap, I haven't been able to blog, the Christmas cards were just ordered two days ago, and I haven't done anything truly fun in a long, long time. But that's all about to change, as I will have the next 2+ weeks off to relax and do absolutely nothing!

Let's see, what else is new...well, after being white trash blonde and then just too damn blonde, I finally decided to go back to my roots (just a prettier shade of them...with highlights). See the photo above. I don't think I'll be changing back anytime soon. Besides, I was getting sick of the "Legally Blonde" references, regardless of how adorable I think Reese Witherspoon is.

J. is doing great - he is talking up a storm these days! Last night he started repeating things I was saying, so now I know I have to start being careful around the house. Luckily he can't read yet, so I can still call people fuckers in writing. ;)
