And Sally Field, Rebecca Romijn O'Connell, and Ethan Hawke...oh, and let us not forget Gap.com (yes, I received an email message today letting me know that 10 years ago today, Gap.com was born)!
Only a few more weeks left until the semester is over for me...then I will have my life back, for the most part, and will be able to do more of the things I enjoy, like blogging, staying in touch with friends, going shopping, hanging out with J. and my husband, and breathing!
In case you were wondering, I had a good birthday. Got lots of great messages from friends, some really kick-ass presents (gift cards, gift cards, and more gift cards -- woo hoo), had lots of cake, and got to wear my "birthday suit" to work (no, get your head out of the gutter...it's a gorgeous $280 Tahari suit that I got at Dillards for a steal at $112). The only sucky part was that I had to work my ass off today, and didn't get off work until late tonight.
That said, I'm not complaining. I have a lot to be grateful for as I turn 34. A wonderful family, the most incredible friends anyone could ever ask for, a job that I enjoy (even when it's exhausting), and a decent wardrobe. Could a girl ask for more than that?!?
