That's all I can think of offhand. I know there's more, but that will have to do for now. I hate that I haven't had time to write anything substantial lately. One of these days I will have the time!

Quick update
What's new in my world? Let's see...
Still haven't sold the house yet. No offers, nothing, nada, zip.
J. has what looks like a cross between a teenage acne explosion and a rash on his little face. I'm taking him to the pediatrician tomorrow.
I have 10 pounds to go until I reach my pre-pre-pregnancy goal weight.
I'm going to be teaching a college-level class in the fall, which is pretty cool. It's just a "intro to college" course for first-year students, but it still allows me to put "Adjunct Faculty" on my resume.
I'm taking two classes this fall and one in the spring...then I will be done with my master's degree!
My sister's divorce was final on July 11th. She has never been happier (ditto for me).
One of my uncles was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The prognosis is not good.
My dad is retiring today, after working for the same company for 42 years! They are having a big party for him on Thursday night.
That's all I can think of offhand. I know there's more, but that will have to do for now. I hate that I haven't had time to write anything substantial lately. One of these days I will have the time!

wow! you got a lot going on in your life. I'm so happy for you with almost finishing your master's degree. i'm still trying to motivate myself to finish my A.A. maybe i need to hang around you more often! *wink* sorry to hear about Jake & your uncle.
miss ya & love ya!
Yea Alicia on teaching a class! I know my calling in life is to be a teacher (at the university level, of course!). Some things I cannot stress enough to new univ. students:
1. Always call your professors Professor So-and-So unless instructed otherwise (I really get tired of being called Mrs. P -- hello! That is my brother's wife).
2. Seriously get to know your professor. It makes a BIG difference when you want some leniency.
3. Cell phones in class and coming late to class really piss off profs. It is only an hour out of your day...deal with it.
4. We are not trying to torture you!
If you have any questions at all about syllabus, etc. ask! I have lots of practice! Good luck with everything.
