Well, my first mother's day turned out to be a nice one. My husband bought me a spa package, that he presented to me last week so that I could do it with my best friend. This morning, my husband let me sleep in and then made me eggs and toast for breakfast. We had all of our family over for lunch and spent the afternoon with my mom, sister, and dad, and my husband's mom, grandmother, and sister. I was actually shocked to get presents from my family members...my mom and dad bought me a beautiful ring (see photo of me showing it off) and my sister bought me some yummy smelling stuff from Bath & Body Works.
In other related news, neither my mom, nor I won the $2000 shopping spree to the mall...which sucks because there was a Coach bag in Dillards with my name written all over it! Oh well, maybe next year!
