What's karma when you need it?!?

Last week, my computer died and I lost everything off of one of my two hard drives. Thankfully, I didn't lose all of my pictures...but unfortunately, I lost all of my songs.

Makes me curse the day I started buying music instead of stealing it like everyone else!

That's the last time I do the right thing!

Ugh! I feel your pain! The same thing happened to me in August. With iTunes, supposedly if you remember your password you can just authorize your new computer/hard drive to download them again for free. Let me know if it works for you. It didn't work for me.

You can copy some of mine when I see you. Although, I don't think I have the variety of 80's pop bands that you prefer...

Becky, I read on itunes website that what you say is true. I'm scared to sync my ipod with my computer though, because if it doesn't work, I'll lose all of my good shit! What a dilemma.

Cory, I might take you up on that. I actually have all of my 80's pop crap - I'd kept most of it on hubby's computer. I just lost all of my new stuff, that I PAID for! UGH!

oh boy, I hear you! when my computer crashed last month, it took all of my pictures w/it. Seven years worth. I'm so smart, I never backed them up!

What about taking it to the geek guys at best buy? they told me they might be able to get the files off, for $75 or $100. I think if they can't do it, you pay $75, but if they can do it, you pay a little more. I have a real good feeling mine is d.e.a.d., but I'm going to try.
