I'd love to tell you that my birthday was full of fun surprises and great adventures, but it was just an ordinary day. I got to sleep until 10 which was a nice perk, but other than that (and a lot of phone calls and emails from my wonderful friends and family), it seemed relatively normal.
I got my present from hubby on Saturday (a beautiful pearl bracelet), so today there was little, if any, fanfare. He planned to take me out to dinner, but J. was super cranky (teething), so we decided to do pizza instead. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get a birthday cake, but honestly, do I need it?!? Not if I want to fit into those size 8 jeans anytime soon!
I made my feelings known after dinner, and hubby made it up to me by lighting a bunch of candles and giving me a full-body massage. Things were just about to get interesting when J. started screaming on the monitor.
D'oh!
On a very positive note, the couple that came over to see the house on Saturday were back again today. The realtor said that they were very close to making a decision. Please, oh please, dear God!

Um, yeah, well, one of your surprises will be coming today...only this time, it wasn't even my fault (normally late bday presents totally are)! You'll see what I mean.
