Today, J. turned four months old! He seems to be right on track for his age, though maybe slightly above average in his communication skills. He just loves to talk and laugh, and has been doing so for quite some time now. We took him to the doctor today for his 4-month check-up and he weighs 15.5 pounds (no wonder my back hurts)! He had to get shots, which he wasn't happy about (who is?!?), but he took it like a little man.
Tonight we're going to try real food (rice cereal mixed with a little bit of banana baby food) and see how it works out. Stay tuned for messy face pics sometime soon!
It seems like time is flying by, though really, it's going at the same pace it always has.
