They grow up so fast

This week, I had to put away all of J.'s newborn-sized onesies because he no longer fits into them.

It's just amazing how fast they grow up! ;)

I think boys are just always big, it seems. Grace has always fit into clothes based on age. She didn't grow out of 0-3M sizes till she was 3 months, etc. My brother, on the other hand, was in 24M sizes when he was just 5 months old!!!

Isn't it incredible? It seems like when they are born, you think, "Oh, they'll NEVER be big enough to outgrown this!" and then it happens before you know it.

I get so sad for a few moments every time I have to clean out the old sizes...and not just with the baby...with all three of the kids.

I think that's why I put it off for so long. When they can't possibly stuff one more article of clothing in their dresser, that's when I do it. : )

Or it might just be because I'm lazy? ha!

Wow! That's a breastfed baby for you. I hope he got to wear the monkey onesie just once (for you of course).

He still fits into the monkey onesie, thankfully. It's his (my) favorite! He can still wear the 0-3 months clothes - just not the clothes that are specifically for newborns. We weighed him today and he's at 9.5 pounds. He's going to be a big boy, me thinks.

I had my first at 32 and my last at 41. I started late but am a more patient and wiser mom. And yes, they do grow up very quickly!

Ensure in the morning before you nurse...that's a new one!
(found you through c.)
