Dis n' Dat

***Yahoo! has this thing call the Buzz Index that lists what people are searching for most on the internet. Yesterday, the number one listing was Jaleel White. Yes, that would be Steve Urkel from Family Matters. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how he'd manage to beat out both Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie for the number 1 spot. Hell, I can't figure out how his name was even there in the first place!

***My husband and I were psyched that we'd be having J. after all of our favorite shows were over for the season. Yes, it's sad for me to admit, but television is a priority in our house (not that it will be for long). So what does NBC do? They create a summer show that stars Jason Gedrick. I don't know why, but he is almost as yummy as Patrick Dempsey to me. Thank God for digital video recording, I suppose!

***I am horrified by the newfound knowledge that most celebrities sell their baby's first pictures to the highest bidder. Even if it's for charity, it's still exploitation as far as I'm concerned. Or maybe I'm just jealous because I couldn't get $4.1 million for J.'s first picture.

I think that's all that's been on my mind this week. Yeah, pretty sad. I know. I'll take any distraction I can get right now though, so cut me some slack.

Definitely the lame entry of a very pregnant woman. :)

Can't wait to (virtually) meet your son. I'm really excited for you!

(I read that about "Steve" yesterday, so I am equally as lame).

OMG...i've been trying to comment on this for so long, i forgot what the hell i was going to say! Blogger is a butthole.

Ok, were was I? Oh, first of all, don't you worry one bit. You'll be able to catch every freaking show that comes on (at any time of day or night) for the next 4 months or so. Like any good baby, Jake will make sure that happens. ; )

Second, we're all getting so anxious to see that little monkey, I'd be willing to bet you could sell his first picture for a pretty good penny.

Jaaaaaaake? Do you hear me? Don't make your mother keep posting entries about Urkel. Enough torture already.

Kate - yes, I know. Totally lame. I can't wait to be able to share stories about the weird things that I know my son will someday do! Having him is definitely going to make life more interesting.

Christine - I don't know what's been wrong with Blogger lately - hope they get that shit straightened out! I read your message out loud because Jake can't read yet. I hope he was listening because nobody really ever wants to hear about Urkel.
