I'm only happy when it rains

After 29 dry days, it's FINALLY raining! Sure, it's great because of the risk of drought and fire hazards where there's a lack of rain...but even more important than that, it means that I will finally have some relief from my allergy problems!

Thank heaven for small miracles!

I only smile in the dark...I like that song.

I hear you. It's also cooled things off for us.

Kelley - Thanks! I think I could do with endless days of sunshine if not for the allergies. Ugh!

Karyl - I was waiting for you to comment and I was thinking of you as I wrote the message. Constant rain sucks, but I bet you don't have pollen issues right now (which to me, makes you lucky in a weird way).

Cory - Yeah...you were supposed to go with us to the concert ... remember?!? We had awesome seats too! I still love you though...very much.

Ramer - Sorry you didn't get much rain further north -- I'll try to send some your way if I can! :D

You're right, Alicia... we have NO pollen right now. We do get some; for a week or two in the spring my car is covered with it. I'm not allergic to it, so it doesn't bother me. We have something called Scotch broom here which is a weed, and apparently it's a huge allergen for most people who live here. The funny thing is, it doesn't rain all summer, though. My lawn dies every summer because I'm just too blasted lazy to water it! :o) But the pollen count is usually pretty low, even still.

I absolutely love the rain! I don't have many allergy issues here in such a dry climate, but I had a few year spell back in Boston where my allergies made me miserable!

Thank goodness for Allegra.

Need. More. Belly Pics!
