Does it wipe your baby's bottom too?

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am addicted to Coach bags. I have them in many colors, shapes, and sizes and don't ever leave the house without one.

When it came to buying a diaper bag for my baby though, I decided that I was going to go with Kate Spade...nothing against Coach, mind you. I was just ready for something a little different. For Christmas, my husband bought me a beautiful black Kate Spade baby bag with khaki quilted stitching. I am enamoured with it and cannot wait to start using it.

For some strange reason, today I decided to check out the prices on Coach baby bags on eBay. I know for a fact that the latest design runs for $398 in the stores. Imagine my shock and awe at the fact that a pink one is going for $1,000 on eBay right now! I'm sorry, but that's just fucking crazy. I was slightly choked at the thought of paying $398 for a baby bag, but think that anyone who "has to have" this particular baby bag so much that they would pay more than 2.5 times what it is worth has lost their mind. I mean, it's not like it has extra features like wiping your baby's poopy bottom or a self-cleaning feature when baby pukes all over it. Plus, think of all of the diapers you could buy with that extra money!

Oh my God. Call the press! It's happened. I've become cost-conscious.

Stop it. Stop it this instant. Have Stephen take you to the Dr. immediately. It's pregnancy induced psychosis.

This is one of the signs that the world is going to end. I'm seriously going to church tomorrow.

That's adorable!!! Did you happen to see that the pink one I was talking about is now going for $1,000...you have to admit, that's insane. Had I known, I'd have bought them all up to sell on eBay myself!

Yeah, as much as i love pink (and coach!), i'm just not feeling it w/that bag...esp. at $1000!!! Now, that other one...how bad could a foreclosure really be for your credit??? i could take living in my car for that one!

You're lucky you have a hubby who indulges your love for designer bags every so often. I really really really wanted the holiday Coach bag (with all the patches, etc, on it) because I loved it (and I'm not a designer bag type person), and Kurt refused because it was too expensive. And I could have gotten it at the Navy Exchange on base for at least $100 cheaper than at the department stores. Ah well. One day... :o)

Karyl - the key is this...you buy it for yourself and say "This is my Christmas present." Let him TRY to make you take it back! He might be pissy for about a week, but he'll get over it! ;)
