I cannot even begin to imagine what people are going through in the Gulf Coast. If I feel like crying every time I turn on the tv, they must be wanting to kill themselves.

I am absolutely outraged and cannot understand why this is happening and WHY people aren't getting the resources they need in a country that has resources coming out its ass!

WHO are the idiots who knew this kind of thing could happen and didn't take steps to prevent it? WHO are the f*ckwits who realized that a whole city could flood in the event of a major hurricane...saw Katrina coming, thinking she was going to hit directly as a Category 5, and STILL did NOTHING to enforce mandatory evacuations of the city, hospitals, and move everyone to higher ground?!? WHY was there no contingency plan in place?

It just seems like the powers in charge reacted like a deer caught in headlights and are just now realizing what a f*cking mess they are in.

And what in the hell is up with the violence in New Orleans?!? If SOMEONE had demanded a miltary police presence and stopped the looting before it got out of hand, it would not have escalated into the free for all "shoot-em-up and rape-the-women" nightmare that is has become.

This isn't America. This is hell.
