So Excited, I Could...

Some may think I'm a freak, but...I'm going to see Duran Duran AGAIN! They scheduled more tour dates for this summer and will be in Orlando on July 18th so I scored pre-sale tickets, which are guaranteed to be in rows 6-15!!!

Not only that, but the band is going to be backed by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra - a one-time thing. The venue is super small (only seats 2600 people) so it's going to be incredible!!!

I swear, the excitement of seeing them brings me back to when I was 10 years old and had posters of them plastered to my walls.

I don't think many adults get as ga-ga for groups or singers the way we do when we are young. I talk to older people who remember Duran Duran and they just don't have the adoration that those who grew up listening to them did. Kids now go crazy for groups that adults don't get very excited about...same thing.

I am honestly so excited I could pee! But I won't. At least not while I'm sitting in my chair typing this. Maybe later. Definitely later. It's not like I will have a choice, you know. ;)
