I used to love pineapple...it was my favorite fruit in the entire world. One day though, something happened...the pineapple stopped liking me back. It made my throat hurt and my lips itch. I ignored the problem...thought it was something else but then I noticed it happening every time I ate pineapple. I decided I had an allergy and left pineapple for another fruit.
The apple and I were doing great for a long time - it was my favorite fruit and I would try to eat one or more every day. About two weeks ago, the apple decided it didn't like me anymore. I was in denial for some time until today when I did research online. Turns out that I have developed something called Oral Allergy Syndrome, an allergy to certain raw fruits.
I am absolutely devastated! What next?!? Strawberries?!? I can't even stand to think about it.
WHY, GOD, WHY?!?
