Costa Rican Honeymoon, Day Thirteen

We woke up and cruised the strip for a different place to eat breakfast. We ate at a place called La Hacienda - it was pretty good.

After, we laid out for a little while and hubby swam. Then, we got ready to leave for San Jose. The ride there was pretty stressful - a lot of it was uphill on a mountain and very curvy. Also, once we got into San Jose, we didn't really know where we were going.

We finally found the Hotel Don Carlos - it's absolutely amazing! Our room overlooks the restaurant - it's cool!

We had lunch at the restaurant and had a conversation with a French Canadian from Las Vegas. Then, we check out the souvenier shop...it was best best we've been to yet! We spent over $100 and we're not even done yet.

Well, later, we went and ate at Rios Bajas and had a HUGE seafood platter for two. Neither of us could finish it, there was so much food! Highlights: we tried octopus (very good, tasted like a Slim Jim) and hubby spent two minutes chewing an overcooked shrimp.

After dinner, we went to La Plaza, a discoteque. It was pretty cool, we each had a drink and watched people dance.

We were back at the room and in bed by 11:30/. We are definitely old and married now! ;)
